About Me

Tyler Walen

Thanks for finding me. I grew up on a farm in North Dakota, where I learned the value of hard work, and work was seven days a week

After graduating from North Dakota State University with a degree in mechanical engineering, I started my career as a sales engineer at Johnson Controls. Shortly after, I took a layoff opportunity and decided to follow my passion and curiosity about real estate. I studied diligently, worked part-time at Amazon, and passed my real estate exams soon thereafter. I was on my way.

In 2015, I almost lost my life in a car accident. The accident left me trapped beneath my vehicle in a pond for 16 hours. That life-changing event instilled in me a deep appreciation for every day and a commitment to making the most of life's opportunities.

Based on my life experiences, I've learned to be resilient, diligent and value every day I have. The benefit for my clients is my drive and commitment to serve as an advocate for them. I'm here to assist my clients in making informed decisions to navigate the real estate market with confidence and clarity. I promise you'll have a trusted advocate on your side guiding you through the process.

On a personal note, I recently married my long-time love, Anna. She is a CPA at a local accounting firm. She is smart, compassionate, a good listener, and I am lucky to have married up! We recently bought a home, so I understand all the emotions of the process firsthand.
